Ever since his childhood, Daniel Satinoff has wanted to be a cinematographer. As a result of this drive, Daniel attended a rigorous arts high school program with a concentration in filmmaking that allowed him to begin developing his skills in photography and cinematography. He then continued his education at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking where he earned his BFA in Cinematography.

After graduating, Daniel moved to Los Angeles where he has worked as a digital imaging technician on major commercials and television series. This experience working with highly skilled Directors of Photography in every type of shooting environment has allowed Daniel to widen his artistic reach and further refine his skills behind the camera.

Daniel has brought this knowledge to bear on the three features, various music videos and short films he has lensed. Daniel's first feature, As the Crow Flies won the M. Caroll Raver Award for Cinematography at the Garden State Film Festival and Best Cinematography at the Cincinatti Film Festival. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
